There was no change at the top of the Soccer America Women’s College Top 25 rankings as Stanford remained No. 1 ahead of Pac-12 rival UCLA, Penn State, North Carolina and Florida in the top five.

— Penn State’s 1-0 win over West Virginia on sophomore Shea Moyer‘s goal in the 80th minute was the only clash of top 10-ranked teams on Week 1.

— The surprise of theweekend came on Sunday when Illinois knocked off 2017 Division I semifinalist Duke, 2-1, on goals by Makena Silber and Katie Le.
